Risograph Printing
At Paperhouse Studio, we offer artists and brands the unique opportunity to utilize Risograph printing. Risograph printing is a vibrant, eco-friendly, and cost-effective printing method that operates much like a screen print, producing rich, and saturated colors. It's best used for art prints, posters, zines, and books where a unique aesthetic is desired. This printing technique allows for beautiful color and texture variations, making each print unique and adding a personal touch to your brand or artwork. Since riso ink is soy-oil based, layering them results in a spectrum of shades due to the mixing of the inks.
The cost of risograph printing depends on several factors such as the number of ink colors used, the quantity of copies needed, and other considerations like the type of paper and any trimming requirements. This guide is based on our house paper, assuming no trimming is needed.
Most of the expense comes from the initial setup. Therefore, we recommend ordering over 50 prints for cost-effectiveness. However, our minimum order quantity is 25.
Please note that the printing size cannot exceed A3 (29.7 cm x 42 cm)
Prints can only be made on paper weights from 40 - 250 gsm
Available colors include: Red, Blue, Black, Fluorescent Pink and Yellow
